My Proclaimation of Faith.
I am unashamed of Jesus Christ!
I accept Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and have been filled with the Holy Spirit. The die has been set. I have crossed over the line. My decision is sure. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I will not shrink back, let up, slow down, back away or be still. My past is covered under the blood, my today is redeemed and my future is secure. I’m finished with low living, sight-seeing, smooth knees, color-less dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals.
By faith in Jesus Christ I am free from the power of the world, the flesh and the devil. I no longer need the accolades of this world. I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded or rewarded by man. By humbling myself before God, He will lift me up before kings and rulers to proclaim His Gospel. I now live by faith, learn by prayer, and labor by God’s power.
My face is set, my destination is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, and my companions are few. My guide is reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bribed, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy nor ponder at the pool of popularity.
I will not give up, shut up, let up, until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Jesus Christ. I am called to be one of Christ’s remnant people. I belong to Him and no other. I must press on until His return, give unselfishly, preach until I drop, and work until He completes me. I must testify to all, that one more might hear and be drawn to His unconditional love, forgiveness, and saving grace. I must reach for another and touch but one more. When Jesus returns He will recognize me! Striving for perfection and recognizing that I already have the victory through Him!
My call and election is sure, for I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
