We would like to thank Master Allen's wife Yoomi as well as Student's John R. and John A. for their support. We would also like to thank the NBC crew and Producer Elizabeth Florez for the opportunity to show Hapkido to the American Public!
Our first public demonstration ever in the United States was a smash! We held the first public demonstration on March 30,2002 at 11:00am in Davie, Florida at Robin's Park. It was a smash! About 3,000 people showed up! The mat was so hot that some students actually got blisters on their feet. There was a great show of teamwork and spirit!
